High School

A message from the principal

Greg Wojczynski

I’m very proud to be a part of the community here at Central Valley Christian! I am proud to be a Cavalier and to be a part of what God is doing in the CVC community.

What makes this place so special? People. When we surveyed the alumni and graduating seniors about their experiences with CVC, I read over and over about how much they valued their relationships with the faculty and the close-knit structure of our community. Our highly-qualified staff is dedicated to offering a challenging academic curriculum in a Christ-centered, nurturing environment.

Our programs, reputed for excellence in the Central Valley, also add to the richness of our community. Our high school (along with our elementary and middle schools) is dually accredited through the Western Association of School and Colleges (WASC) and Christian Schols International (CSI). Our programs, which include honors and AP classes, are able to meet the needs of all of our students. We offer a comprehensive educational program to assist students with varying career and college aspirations. With our art, music, theater, agriculture education, athletics, and club opportunities, your child will have a diverse high school experience.

Lastly, but above all, the expansiveness of our school culture begins with the right foundation. Ultimately, our desire is that our students will grow in their relationships with God. We want them to understand the value of being made in the image of God. We want them to recognize the impact of The Fall on our world. We want them to recognize the power of redemption, not just in restoring our relationship with God through the gift of Jesus Christ, but also in the work we as Christians do in the world around us, no matter the occupation.

We believe that Jesus is the Lord of everything–a message that is delivered in all aspects of our school. This year, our theme is “Fully Devoted” from Acts 2:42. We want to challenge our students to devote themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship as the early Christian community did in Acts. We want our students to have a renewed sense of true community and to celebrate that we are all children of God. Whether learning, creating, or competing, we want our students to have the mindset of Christ and for humility to be at the center of it all. We are excited to partner with you to make an eternal difference in the life of your student.
