Fog Delay
Is there a fog delay?
In the event of a Fog Delay, you will receive a notification from the CavComm app if you have signed up. (Make sure you download the CavComm app and tailor your notification groups!)
Remember: Safety first!
Do not attempt to drive to school if you feel that conditions are not safe. Absences due to fog are excused absences.
If we are running a Foggy Day Schedule:
- Plan A: Buses run 2 hours 15 minutes later than regular time – classes start at 10:30 a.m. PM bus routes will run.
- Plan B: AM Buses canceled – classes start at 10:30 a.m. PM bus routes will run.
- Plan C: Due to it being an already scheduled 1/2 day - school is canceled. No bus routes will run.
School will always dismiss at 3:00 pm our regular time.
CVC is only canceled due to fog if the fog disrupts an already scheduled 1/2 day.

CavComm
CavComm is Central Valley Christian’s app for families to subscribe to specific groups and receive relevant notifications for their families, from pre-K all the way up through HS. This app will be used by CVC to contact all families about fog delays and other school-wide alerts. Download it today!
