The Basics of the Scrip Program

  • CVC families and friends buy retail gift cards through our scrip program at face value.  You can choose from nearly 400 national retail stores where you already shop!  (See retailer list button below.)
  • CVC buys the gift cards at up to 10% less than face value (varies by retailer).
  • The difference between face value and what CVC pays is split between CVC and the scrip buyer.  You will receive up to a 3% tuition rebate through your scrip purchases.
Here’s an Example
Mrs. Smith is doing some boutique shopping, so she buys a $100 Downtown Visalia gift card for $100 through CVC’s Scrip office. She just earned $3 because Downtown Visalia gift cards are available to Scrip at 3% less than face value. $1.50 goes to CVC, $1.50 goes to Mrs. Smith as a tuition rebate. She will do the same thing when she needs cleaning supplies at Target, and earn $1.75 for herself and $1.75 for the school just by using a $100 Target GiftCard to pay for her purchases.

Central Valley Christian School

This week, the third grade learned why the moon changes shape throughout the month. They saw how your position can change the lighted part you see. Then they showed off what they learned by representing each moon phase with Oreos! Who said science wasn’t fun, interesting, AND yummy? #cvces ... See MoreSee Less

On Monday, Mrs. Altena’s class had the opportunity to FaceTime with a famous illustrator, Richard Jesse Watson. They are reading the book “One Wintry Night” by Ruth Bell Graham, which he illustrated. It was very interesting and encouraging for the class to hear how God has and is using Mr. Watson’s artistic talent. This interview was able to add a lot more depth to this beautiful book that lays out God's plan for salvation. #cvces ... See MoreSee Less
